Specifically, it means that all of us are not alone, but share equally in the oneness of being. Our spirit or Creator is not separate from us. He is everywhere, and therefore He is both outside of us and WITHIN us. He is whole and He envelopes each of us. Therefore, we are part of that whole.

Since we equally share in His oneness, no one is either superior or inferior to another. In other words, there is not need for judgment once you understand all of us are part of the whole of God.

Being part of a community gives responsibility--not only for ourselves but for others in the community. Since we are all part of the whole, everything we do can affect the other parts. If you are in a good mood, others will respond accordingly. If on the other hand, you choose to focus only on the destructive, you will bring continue to bring destructive influences into your life.

http://www.cherbchronicles.com

We Are Community by Lillian Gaffney

http://www.heartpathcoach.com/1/post/2010/08/we-are-community-by-lillian-gaffney.html

http://www.heartpathcoach.com/1/post/2010/08/we-are-community-by-lillian-gaffney.html#comments

Uncategorized

"The community stagnates without the impulse of the individual. When I think of community, I see it as a place of belonging, a being a part of where we give and receive. Community is a center where we come together as equals sharing our gifts and love with each other. It's people being open to each other and accepting.

Community is where we build relationships of meaning. There lie memories, that may or may not be endearing. Sometimes, in that center is conflict to which we can learn resolution.

Community is a gathering of hearts and souls with various backgrounds that make-up the individuals. Community creates unity and bonds us beyond our little worlds of self. It is an extension of ourselves that expands outwardly making connections, making a difference in whatever shape or form that does in fact expand the whole.

Community to me helps us grow and change...given the "right" kind of support we are the better for it. It is a place where our commonality is the same: a desire to be a part of the bigger picture. It is a group of individuals honoring each others uniqueness as we meld into one.

Lillian Gaffney: Journal Writer/Creative Artist/

Healer/Facilitator/Coach
http://lilliangaffney.com/

Please find Lillian's original post on Heart Path Coach's Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/heartpathcoach

Community Means Wholeness ~ Linda Jenkins

http://www.heartpathcoach.com/1/post/2010/08/community-means-wholeness-linda-jenkins.html

http://www.heartpathcoach.com/1/post/2010/08/community-means-wholeness-linda-jenkins.html#comments

Uncategorized

"Community means wholeness~A place or state of mind where each of us hold the safety, health, and well-being of the entire neighborhood at heart.
